Reverend Rebecca Nagy is an Award Winning, Non Denominational and Interfaith Wedding Officiant, officiating over 2700 weddings that reflect each couple's individuality - their personalities, beliefs and relationship - for over 18 years. Her weddings have been featured on The Today Show, national and local publications and have won numerous awards including Martha Stewart Weddings via Weddingwire, The Knot and The BOW Award (Best of Wedding) that designated her as #1 Wedding Officiant by the Wedding and Event Industry.
Known for her open-minded approach to religion and spirituality and her easy-going manner, she captures every couple's unique story and weaves it into their ceremony with both humor and poignancy. Having earned the designation of professional speaker with NSA (The National Speaker's Association), Reverend Rebecca is the only officiant who has held a seat on the board of NACE (The National Association of Catering Executives), and has been a featured speaker at both of these organization's National Conventions and Regional Retreats.
Reverend Rebecca spent the first 25 years of her career in the fashion industry, where she was a Fashion Director, Merchandiser, Designer and Divisional Merchandise Manager in Product Development for Divisions of Federated and May Co. Department Stores, Kmart International, and Belk Stores Services.
Rebecca is a graduate of The University of North Carolina-Greensboro, Sancta Sophia Seminary, and earned her ordination through The International Council of Community Churches in 1997. She is a member of NACE (The National Association of Catering and Event Professionals), and The Monroe Institute/The Institute of Noetic Sciences .She has also served on the Board of Trustees of Light of Christ Community Church, Spiritual Directors International, and the Board of Governors of Sancta Sophia Seminary.
Reverend Hilarie is an intuitive, light-hearted and joyful officiant. She is a graduate of Gateway University and ordained in 2009. She enjoys meeting couples and designing custom cermonies that tell their love story. In addition to doing weddings she offers pre-marital counseling, baptisms, home and business blessings, and spiritual counseling. Hilarie's life has taken her on many spiritual journeys from working as a corporate executive and computer programmer, wife, mother, student and minister. Each moment in life has blessed her with opportunities to grow, learn and feed her soul. Realizing every moment is an opportunity to be in service no matter what challenges or joys cross her path. Officiating weddings brings joy to her heart to witness the love and celebration of uniting a couple in marriage.
Reverend Hilarie lives in Lake Wylie, SC with her husband Mike, her daughter Sabreena, their dogs Angel, Maddie and Rosie and most importantly Mr. Cat. She enjoys reading, crafting, writing, programming, cooking, music, games and gardening. Most free time on weekends is spent working on something with her husband Mike. Hilarie is well known for her laugh and has been nicknamed Reverend Giggles.
